Most typing sites hand you a passage and a score. We start with a 6-chapter curriculum of 72 lessons that takes you from finding the home row without looking, through numbers and symbols, to sustained real-world prose.
Tell you what to fix
A number on its own doesn't make anyone faster. Every run records which keys you miss, which finger keeps slipping, and how much you lean on backspace — then points you at the lesson that drills exactly that.

Where we come from
Durga Typing was built in Varanasi, India, for candidates preparing for government typing examinations — tests with unforgiving accuracy rules where a fraction of a percent decides whether someone gets a job. Teaching for that standard forced us to build things a casual typing test never needs: per-keystroke error analysis, exam-accurate timing, and a curriculum that fixes the cause rather than reporting the symptom.
This global experience applies the same engine to English typing for work. The exams are different; the discipline isn't. Our benchmark here is 50 WPM — the point at which typing stops being the slow part of your working day and employers stop asking about it.
