Refund Policy

1. Introduction

Thank you for practicing with TypeGuru. We strive to provide the best possible value for our students (with Student Pro upgrades starting at just ₹49). If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, this Refund Policy outlines the terms and circumstances under which you may be eligible for a refund.

2. Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a full or partial refund under the following conditions:

• Technical Failures: A billing error where you are charged but the Pro subscription is not activated on your account, and our support team cannot activate it manually within 24 hours.
• Duplicate Charges: If you were charged twice for the same transaction due to a connection drop or payment gateway hiccup.
• Satisfaction Window: Requesting refund within 48 hours of purchase, provided you have not generated verified speed certificates or extensively used the mock tests.

3. Refund Request Process

To submit a refund request, please email [email protected] with the following details:

• Registered account email address.
• Transaction/Order ID from Razorpay (sent to your email).
• A brief reason for the refund request (e.g., technical failure, duplicate charge).

4. Processing Timeline

Once a request is received, our support team will inspect and verify your payment status and platform usage logs within 24-48 hours. If approved, the refund will be initiated immediately.

The refunded amount usually takes 5 to 7 working days to reflect back in your bank account, depending on bank processing queues.

5. Non-Refundable Conditions

We cannot issue refunds under the following circumstances:

• Requests made after 48 hours of initial purchase.
• If the user has already requested and generated a verified typing speed certificate.
• If the account was banned or suspended due to violations of our Terms of Service (e.g. cheating or using auto-typers).
