Typing practice for Madhya Pradesh government exams
Many Madhya Pradesh government recruitments — including MP CPCT, MP High Court (Assistant and Steno), MPPEB and various state department posts — require a typing skill test. This page brings all that preparation under one roof.
Major MP exams with a typing round
- MP CPCT (Computer Proficiency Certification Test): English (30 WPM, 15 min) and Hindi (20 WPM, 15 min, Remington Gail / Mangal)
- MP High Court Assistant: English and Hindi rounds with separate speed thresholds
- MP High Court Steno: Higher speed requirement in Hindi (Remington Gail)
- Various MPPEB and state secretariat posts with English and/or Hindi typing components
Practice smart
Set the timer to match your target exam duration, choose the correct Hindi layout (Remington Gail is most common in MP exams), and complete at least 3 runs daily. Focus on the CPCT error formula if you are preparing for CPCT — errors carry a heavier penalty than in standard tests.
Always verify: MP exam typing requirements vary by post and change with each notification. Confirm the exact speed, layout and error rules in the official notification before your exam.
